I'm engaged!!!

I  got so much  wonderful  support  from my friends  on Gather,  going  through  the stages  of my new  relationship...   stressing  about using the "L  word"  and so  on!    I  wanted  to share the news with  all  of  you!!!

I  am  engaged  to  a  wonderful  guy,  who  loves me  more than  I ever  imagined was possible!    I am nervous, as  I  have been down  this road  before,  but  I feel that   now,  being  older  and  (hopefully)  wiser,   I  am  making  a more informed  decision  this time.    I have lived and  learned, and,  although  he is five years younger than  I, and has never  married,  he  is  more  mature than  many  I have known  with twice his years.    I  am sure we  will  have  struggles along the way,  but  I  honestly feel  that  we  have so much  in  common,  and so much understanding of  each  other and  the things  we  experience,  that we will  be  able to overcome  the  obstacles  that  may  face us.

Anyway,  wanted  to  share  this news and let y'all know that  I  will be  moving in a  few  days,  so  I have  been  very, very busy,  which  is why  I  haven't  been  around much.    I  so look forward  to  things  settling  down  a bit  and  getting  back  to enjoying the  site!
