My poetry book published in India

Dear friends,

Yesterday, my first poetry book has been published by local publisher in India in hard copies along with ISBN number. Primarily, the book shall be sold within India.

I would like to publish the “exclusive on line version” through some trusted site for global marketing.

I wish to put the book on line “for downloading” by interested readers with my share of payments in convertible Indian currency. I do not want to pay anything to the site for positioning the online version of my book there.... the site would get the share as mutually agreed as and when the book is downloaded by readers.

Am I wrong?

Is it possible?

Manoj, what you are thinking is hard to do! If we friends want then also it would be not easy because online sites related with writing poems/poetry are mostly not available freely! i have tried but did not get it yet! If such a site is there and some friends know about then it would be ok and fine!
Well i can suggest that you can make your own site freely and it is possible! There are sites which are helping to create a free site with all their support you can search such a through google >>>

One of my first thoughts in regard to online publishing would be to click on the Contact word (in blue--below this Conversation box) and email the Gather Team about their ideas of pursuing this. You might search google with just the words 'online publishing' and see what information they would provide. Best Wishes and again, Congratulations.

I'm happy for you now that you have published the book. However, I ain't got a clue of how to publish a book on-line like it's currently done for music or movies. However you might try Blish.

Wonderful to hear someone publishing his work...I can't wait to do mine own. Surely, one day i will try, but for now congratulation on your work. You should be proud of yourself too. I am impressed. But why go for online version? I would surely want to get a copy if the book reaches my country, which I think is not a probblem...we are so near. Good luck with your other works!!
