Our Lil Red, shares his birthday today, No
vember 28, with Christina Hagle who has been a Gather member since October 18, 2006. Christina is a mother of a 17 year old boy and a 19 year old girl, living in Woodland, California.
She was a childcare provider for 12 years. Now for the past six years she does photography and advertising work from her own home.
Christina has been writing on and off for the past eight years, though not professionally. Christina tells us she was first inspired to write when, “my life turned upside down, I began writing for the healing, It helped....”
Her hobbies include: “Deer hunting, photography, writing and reading poetry, taxidermy...” Wow these are certainly not your run of the mill hobbies, I would say.
She also likes walking on the beach and exploring the wilderness.
The two things that Christina hates the most about human behaviour is “People who prejudge people before they even know them...” and “people who can't be honest....”
Christina is divorced and as she explains, she “was in a severe abusive marriage and became mentally strong enough to leave with my children when they were younger..
Both my children from birth on, had heart problems and had many heart surgeries through their lives almost losing them both; and they are two years apart. Now they are 17 and 19 and doing very well...”
The one thing that she would like to do that she has not already done is to go on an African Safari with her Camera in hand.
Her favourite birthday memory is actually this one, as she states, “My friend took me to Florida and I went to Parrot Jungle Island and I was able to photograph many exotic animals. My favorite were the chimps.. I just got back a few days ago, and that was the best birthday memory yet!”
The birthday wish that Christina would like to have come true one day is to go to Australia and meet Russell Crowe because he is absolutely the P in perfection in my eyes!
