I previously wrote an article about my son's problem with his speech. Here it is if you want to go back and read it.

I wanted to update everyone on what has happened since writing that article.
My son had his 2 year check and our pediatrician decided that it was time to get him help. She referred us to a program called Early on and if he qualifies can recieve the services until he is 3 years old.
They will be coming out this coming Wed. and evaluating Jacob on his speech level. I will update everyone on what they say about his speech.
I like to take the catch it early approach on handling situations like this. I don't like to just sit things out and see how they happen... I like to get things taken care of early as possible so that other levels of his education are not hindered when the time comes.
He does not at this time seem to have any problems with his ears. We will further check into it, but there is no build up of fluid in his ears and he has only had one or two ear infections in his life.

So by all means, get him any help you can!
Getting help as early as possible makes good sense.
Dan.. I did not see where you stepped out of line... So no sorry needed...We give out children lots of love and attention..... out of love for my son, I feel that he needs early intervetion now so that when he does enter school this will not hinder his learning or having freinds..
