Having trouble with grammar? Not sure if you should use whether or weather? Your or you're?

If so, you have probably encountered the Grammar Hedgehog of Gather. No, she did not write the dictionary. She does not own Gather. She is not an elitist, a bitch, the Grammar Police, or seeking compensation for her help.

Audrey A. is a kind-hearted soul who offers her expert critique and advice because she cares about you, and language. Instead of assuming that everyone owns a mouse and the ability to Google the information they need, she provides it for them.

Because some mistake her assistance as barbs instead of the well-intentioned gift that it is, I might suggest she change her icon to a red, fuzzy heart. However, most people see her kindness, charm, wit, intelligence, and good intentions despite the hedgehog icon so it might not be necessary.

When Audrey sees this article, she will probably yell, "holy shit, I had no idea this would ever happen to me." Audrey, my dear friend, you deserve the honor. Please, accept this article and your new fan club as a small token of the great admiration I have for you.

Joanne, Audrey is extremely diligent in her duties. I think it is safe to assume that you have made no errors - or - I have kept her so busy with my errors lately that she hasn't made it off my articles in a while.

It's nice to see the hedgehog community taking a more active role in the fight against sloppy spelling, grammar, and syntax. E. Audrey is working hard to break the hedgehog stereotype.

Since I am not an official anything, I don't think I have the right to make that decision, Nancy. Of course, in my opinion, she belongs in that group of official grammarians, just as you should be an official punctuator.

Audrey, you would be so proud of Lyrical. She realized recently that many people do that with the 'period' but neglect other punctuation. So, she has been vocalizing commas and exclamation points often. I'm just waiting for her to throw in a couple of semicolons. I'll try to catch it on video for you.

I'm thinking it will be funny as hell, so I'm anxious.
I joined Gather because of the ad on my Effexor bottle. I've since been switched to Cymbalta. Gather has continued to work despite the med change. Gather side effects are minimal compared to those of other psychoactive drugs.
Before joining Gather my writing looked like this: Heers' a ritng smpel frum bfour.

Now, as you can see, after a little hedgehog intervention I kan writ mush beder. I've lurned abowt vouls and uz thom whenevur I con. I don't nevur gets my vurbes mixt up with jendur and nambor like tha was befoure.
