Melt into me
like the snow
during spring's thaw,
bringing to life
that which was frozen.
Envelop me
with the warmth of you,
and lay to waste
that which is cold and barren,
frigid and unmoving.
Breathe life
into my heart and soul,
and put aside
all that makes me
run from joy and pain.
Sing to me
and may we dance with joy
in the meadows
under the dappled sunlight,
holding onto one another,
for this is the season of our lives.
