I hate the perfume scented pages that are inserted into magazines. I always tear them and toss them into my recycle bin. Recently I had two magazine issues that had Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist and I kept both pages for a week to use for my personal use throughout the week.
The scent was really nice and not overpowering. It was subtle yet a scent that I noticed right away from within the magazine pages. I went and searched for this product line to find out how much it costs.
The advertisment indicated this is available at Nordstrom's. Their site offers free shipping for orders over $100. I checked the site and found that there is even hair products in this scent at $18 or a deodorant for $17.50.  Â
The rollerball sells for $40, which looks like a good item, plus they have many varieties of this scent that can be found here:
I do shop at Nordstrom's for tinted noisturizer by Laura Mercier and I get skin care at Rodan + Fields plus the eyebrow pencil at Christian Dior. I have had samples from La Prairie skin care line, but will have to wait until I get the income tax refund to purchase more products there.
I found in the coupon section of the Sunday paper an advertisement for FragranceNet.com. Normally I would not give it a second glance, but since I am on the hunt for this cologne, I read and saved the coupon for ten dollars off. The code is FSNV2 for $10 off orders over $35, plus this site offers free shipping on orders over $60.Â
The discounted price at FragranceNet.com is $38.00 for a 1 ounce spray. That means it qualifies for the ten dollar coupon code. I like that this site also gives feedback on the scent:
It was introduced in 1994 for daytime casual use - fresh floral jasmine, sandalwood & vanilla that will last 6-10 hours.Â
They can be accessed at http://www.fragrancenet.com or calling 1-800-PARFUMS.
Does anyone use Cashmere Mist and what has been the feedback from others on this scent? I really liked this and will be getting some for myself as soon as I can afford it. I highly recommend testing it out while shopping this holiday season at the cosmetic counters.
