I was..
in the kitchen and heard this conversation between my 10 and 11 yearold, as they hung clings to the patio door.
10- Stop moving my pieces!
11- They have to look nice, shut up.
10- You shut up!
11- There, leave them like that.
10- why should I?
11- So they look nice for the people that live behind us.
10- Its an old folks home, its not like they're going to get out of their wheelchairs and come admire our craftiness.
11- shut up!
10- you shut up!
10&11- MOM!!!!!!!
Its the moments of lucidity I live for. *sigh*
It is not confined to the kids...
This is an ACTUAL conversation I had with my husband concerning the stereo in my car which was making a funny noise.
Me- Did you fix my stereo?
Him- Um..not exactly, theres nothing I can do, you need a new one.
Me- Whats wrong with it?
Him- It doesn't work.
Me- oh..really.....
Him- yea..it worked alot better before I stuck a stick in it and rooted around.
Me- WHAT?!?!
Him- ::Bashful Grin::
Me- ::laughs so hard I fall off the bed::
*sigh*
