Below is from http://www.newamericanindependent.com/Issues.html
'September 11th was the opportunity that the
neo-conservatives were waiting and hoping for (they expressed the need for a pearl harbor type attack on America long
before 9/11) too procede with their agenda. The attack we suffered on 9/11 was due to a large American presence in
the Middle East region (among other things), especially in the holy land of Saudi Arabia. We were not attacked because
we are free or because we are considered a christian nation by many, or because they want our land. We were attacked
because we have been occupying the region and trying to shape it in our image. An interventionist policy (the policy of
the Bush Administration) will only result in more conflicts and more danger for America."
We don't like either of them. Both are ignoring the middle class and selling us down the river to Mexico, China, Saudi Arabia and many more.
Americans deserve more choices at the ballot box. Being stuck between dumb and dumber just won't do.
I have grown so tired of the Democrats hoping that the Republicans will fail and vice versa. Where is the concern for the ordinary American?
Loyal Republicans will go to the grave trying to defend the undefendable actions of their leaders. The loyal Democrats do the same. How about defending the American people and the average joe.
Our congress (both parties) is set to allow the U.S. to be flooded with H1B foreign tech workers by removing the cap. The H1B has already done terrible damage to our American tech workers. Big business wins out again and the American people lose again. We see this over and over again on so many important issues.
My father who was a wonderful person was forced to work two jobs as a welder and a tractor-trailer driver up until he passed away last year. No 70 year old man show have to do this. He was a veteran, a youth football coach and a fire chief for his local volunteer fire company. Our hard working Americans are getting nothing more than a slap in the face by our so called "leaders". My mother was left with a large debt of medical bills and little medical coverage herself.
My own business of landscaping became uncompetitive as all of my competitors began hiring illegal immigrants. Where is the support of our honest business owners by our leaders? They are busy pushing for open borders for their corporate masters that is where they are.
We are in desperate need of more options at the voting booth. That is what I have dedicated myself to.
Marc you would be interested in this. In my home state of Pennsylvania for example if you want to run for a state wide office as an independent or third party candidate you have to collect 67,070 signatures. The Democratic and Republican candidates have to collect only 2,000 signatures each! Pennsylvania had a fine independent candidate this year, but he only collected 45,000 signatures. A Green Party candidate defied the odds and collected over 80,000 signatures and the PA Democratic Party took him to court to challenge the signatures. The judge who was appointed by a Democrat throw out the Green Party candidates signatures. The judge didn't look at any of the signatures, he just took the word of the high powered Democratic lawyers. The judge also order the Green Party canddiate to pay for ALL court costs. The Green Party candidate who just wanted to participate in our so-called democracy is stuck with a bill of $900,000. The will probably never be able to pay off this debt. It is amazing how many people who are set on trying to cram democracy down the throats of the rest of the world don't give a damn about it here. If our country is going to survive this critical next 60 years in a world of globalization we must get past this religious type of following of the democratic and republican parties.
I don't care which party comes up with a good idea, let's use it. Don't resist or tear it apart because the "other side" proposed it. We are Americans and our nation is in real trouble. We need to wake up. Your Republican party won't mean a thing when there is no more United States. Your Democratic Party won't mean a thing after our middle class collapses followed by our country.
It is time to move America, not left or right, but forward.
