I certainly will NOT read the book. I thought he did it, too. He's just a sicko. I didn't like him when he was a football player, he's just too cocky in my opinion. The money he makes from the book can't be touched as I understand it by the Goldman family or the Brown family. And, remember how he vowed to find the perps responsible for the murders after the fact? Right, he's looking for them in all the golf courses. I really can't stand the man.

Yeah, he has been right on it, looking for the supposed murderers of his wife and Goldman. Talk about 'news whores', Fox is right up there.

When I lived in Lauderdale, he tried to buy a house on the very expensive IntraCoastal. The neighbors all went in together to buy it instead to keep him out.

Fox News Channel, the one with Hannity and Colmes, isn't the network running the interview. It's Fox Television who is running it. Although they are owned by the same holding group, they televise different shows. So, again, it's the Bart Simpson channel who is airing the interview. Just wanted to clarify that for y'all.

This book will be a best seller. People read plenty of books about gruesome true crime. Many murderers have collaborated with authors to turn out true crime. Some profit some don't it depends on the son of sam laws in the state. True crime is extremely popular. I am not defending OJ Simpson here I am merely making the comment about my belief. I am not quite sure what the difference is between reading a book by OJ (you know "he" didn't personally put his pen to paper) or reading a book like "The Killer Beside Me" where Bundy got together with Anne Rule, I think it was. If OJ does profit then his children or the Goldman's will get the money. What's the difference if it's a fiction or nonfiction? Simpson isn't going to be affected by this and for those of you who profess that they won't buy the book, then don't buy it or read it. If you are a true crime afficianado and the book is interesting, you will give in to temptation one day. I just don't see the point in depriving yourself of a good read. It reminds me of the days when many boycotted veal because of the treatment of the calves. The calves were still slaughtered and eventually we ate veal again.

It's the principle of the thing Donna. You go ahead and read the book if you are interested in true crime by slimeballs. I am not.

He owns NewsCorps, which is the parent corporation of the Fox network, the Fox News Channel (which has been devoting a lot of time lately to condemning this special) and the publisher as well. He profits from EVERY angle of this, far more than Simpson, and he's the one who should be the target of this ire. Simpson is a card-carrying imbecile so what more can we expect from him? Whether or not he killed his ex-wife and Goldman, he's obviously a sociopath for subjecting his children to this spectacle. But don't forget that the money from the book sales, the advertising dollars on the special and the ad dollars from Fox News as the ratings climb while they condemn this and dredge everything up all over again ARE ALL GOING TO RUPERT MURDOCH. He gets to sit on both sides of the fench. That's who you should be upset at, and that's who you should be boycotting, if you care about this issue so passionately.

Precisely. As I wrote on another thread, Fox is doing this shit in order to stir up division among white and black democrats. The liberal website democraticunderground is discussing this at this moment.


Interestingly, neither Fox nor other right wingers said anything about racist Hitlerian Mark Fuhrmann and how he is responsible for the deaths of innocent blacks and Hispanics.
