Self-published? Here's a couple review sites

If you're a self-published author, it's hard to get press--there's a couple of sites that specifically review self-published POD type books.Â

There's POD-DY Mouth--she's been around a while and she's pretty popular so getting into her review list may not be easy.Â She doesn't do sci/fi, but does most everything else from the looks of things.Â The books she has reviewed have gone on to do quite well.Â If you're a reader, you might check out her reviews:

Thanks for sharing this information. I will reference it for my egnahbinc@gather.com group. Self publishing can be a very satisfying way to accomplish goals on specific projects and of course it is growing by leaps and bounds! 10+ for passing on such good information.

You're most welcome. Pod-dy mouth site has a lot of good info on it for self-published or commercial published. She's a wealth of info.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Barnes and Noble, Amazon, and a few others have indicated they are looking to pick it up in 6 weeks or so... Press release just went out today. Lots of fun but glad I have my day job!

That is Great news about BN and Amazon--maybe you can get Pod-dy mouth to review it! You never know unless you try, I suppose. If I see any others, I will definitely let you know. I think Writer's Digest might run a self-pub contest--where people enter books they have pubb'd. You might look at that site . There may be a cost involved (there usually is with their contests!) but it is a thought. I don't go much for contests unless the entry fee is Very small, but it's nice to have options to evaluate!
