Can it really be 25 years since the first wedding, when 30 million viewers watched the nuptials...Elizabeth Tayler was there, were you?

 

 

But wait , what is it I hear that Laura is only going to be around for a short while before she lapses back into that catatonic state...So unfair.

The wedding is day after tomorrow, Black Tie and girly girl fluffy attire required.

Let's Gather around the show and drink a toast to innovative programming at ABC!

 

By The Way, I met Genie Francis a few years ago when I attended a celebrity wedding out in L.A...(too long a story for now) but I must say I am so strange that I was most thrilled at meeting her, than I was at meeting some of the other bigger names that were there...:)

I remember exactly where I was. I called in sick to Nursing School to watch. I wathed with my laid-off hubby and the guy from downstairs, and we all three bawled through it. I wish I could do the same tomorrow, but sadly, it won't happen. Hopefully I can catch it on SoapNet this weekend. (I rarely get to watch anymore)
Yeah, its a pity to bring Genie back for only a few weeks.

I call it sex appeal, I've thought he was a hottie since he raped the girl. I have a sneaking suspicion that Tony Geary flies another direction, so to speak.

Yeah, but I depend on my daughter to keep me up to date...I rarely get to watch.

I remember being so addicted to GH that when I went to Europe on my honeymoon, one of the things I insisted my mom do was tape the show for me....for the entire three weeks we were gone! I went into withdrawl I was so addicted! LOL

Back in 1981 I was a waitress and worked nights so was able to see it and today I saw the last half hour once home from picking kids up from school.

I saw them on The View the other day and Good Morning America.

Yep too bad about her only being on a short while. I had heard she and her husband broke up - he was on the tv version of star trek.

I missed seeing if Helena was at the wedding?

Yes I was watching way back when. Wouldn't have missed it for nuthin'! ! ! Don't watch the soaps anymore though.

I do remember the Luke and Laura days, but I haven't seen it since, and I certainly feel old now, thinking its been THAT many years?!?!? Maybe I've been in a catatonic state! I agree, though, she still looks very good, much the same, but he certainly shows the years.
