What do you consider to be a comfort food? I think something like Home made Chicken and Noodles would be my favorite. I know some people consider choclate a comfort food. What do you think?
A pork roast with either noodles w/gravy or mashed potatoes.....not the flakes, real potatoes that you hate peeling but glad that you did cause it tastes so much better....yummy!
Adele, I love butter also. New reports say it is best to use real butter not margarine. The heart doctors have told people in my family if you are going to use butter make it the real stuff. There are a few for your heart that they also recommend.
I make this dish that is not the prettiest to look at....but I swear by it! You take your potatoes, peel and cut into chunks. Boil them till fork tender. Drain, and add you butter, a 1 8oz container of sour cream, 1 drained can of whole corn, a little milk, salt and pepper to taste. Man it is an ugly dish....but tasty!
I also eat fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and chocolate cake! Now that meal will have you feeling better in NO TIME! LOL
