Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is now trying to attract aliens to its chicken delights by placing an 18,500-square-foot logo in Area 51 in the Nevada desert.
Interestingly, the monstrous new logo was created by Synergy Events of Rachel, Nevada, the UFO Capitol of the World. Dubbed "The Face From Space," the logo will truly be visible from space. It consists of 65,000 one-foot square SnapCourt ™ tile pieces. The logo is so large that one would be able to fit 435 monoliths from Stonehenge into it or 3,043 images of the actual size of Big Ben.
KFC international president Graham Allan said the Colonel Sanders icon, which is now 50 years old, is the most recognized in the world "and we want everyone in the universe to see KFC's new look of the future."
The new logo shows Colonel Sanders with his signature string tie, but his classic white, button-down suit has been replaced with a red apron.
I think someone should put up another sign near by to let the aliens know that KFC is not all that, if you know what I mean.
