Amy and Jim, this is really excellent! The painting and the poem match superbly. And the short poem has so many meanings that flow from it: is it the implication, for instance, that the Earth receives strength from the Sun? Are the Earth and the Sun, therefore, tied up almost in a man-woman symbolism, and, if your extend the symbolism further, that they are waking up together after a night's sleep?

Reminds me of the time I stayed up with my dad to watch the sunrise one camping trip, thanks for this wonderful piece of work. Sunrise is such a great thing to see, wish I was still a morning person oh well.
