CBS' Ed Bradley Dead at 65

I was saddened to hear of Ed Bradley's passing yesterday, of chronic lymphocytic leukemia, the same kind of cancer that my father has. I think it is a little bit strange that my father is a Vietnam Vet, and Bradley also was a Vietnam war correspondent. I wondered to myself if he was exposed to Agent Orange, and if that exposure could've possibly caused his CLL? Anyway, Bradley was one of my favorite 60 minutes journalists, and he will be missed!

that is exactly what i was thinking when i heard he died of leukemia. The men in Vietnam war were exposed to some scray stuff thanks to the us goverment. agent orange to be just one of them and not long ago i had read that it did cause cancer so im guessing it had a hand in making them both sick. I will miss seeing ed on the 60 minutes. Sorry to hear your fater too has this dreadful disease.

My husband a Vietnam Veteran has many health problems that can be linked back to Vietnam and exposures to Agent Orange and more. He had half of his left lung
removed a few years ago from an unidentified mass growing there. I also was saddened to hear of Ed Bradley's passing. Good-luck to your Dad in fighting his cancer. Our soldiers seem to always have to face lifes battles and they do so bravely.

Agent Orange was bad enough. Now our soldiers are carrying around radioactive bullets. They finally found a way to get rid of Nuclear (or should I say Nucular?) Waste. Make it into a bullet.
