I just had to laugh this morning when I ran across this! I'm a graphic artist... typo's are a fact of life with me but this one brought tears to my eyes! Somehow in an article written about bees, someone really missed the boat when they inserted into the article:
"With its highly evolved social structure of tens of thousands of worker bees commanded by Queen Elizabeth, the honey bee genome could also improve the search for genes linked to social behavior."
It goes on to say (see the article) that she has 10 times the lifespan of workers and lays up to 2,000 eggs a day.
I just thought I'd share with this for those of you who have not seen it. Reuters took the article down, so the original no longer exists on their site, but man... this one really gave me a giggle this morning!
