This week's feature is Leah Christensen (danishcanadian ). Leah is a Canadian citizen, but is half Danish. She wishes she could have dual citizenship. her flag icon and screenname reflect that.
She is not married but has her eye on someone special. With no kids, she takes care of her grandfather, who sometimes acts like a kid. She has been a Gatherholic since May 30th, 2006. Her other hobbies include Reading, writing, music, spending time in my favourite cafes (The Second Cup is one of those).
She spends as much time as possible online everyday. If she has nothing else to do, she is on Gather. She even sets an alarm if she is doing something else so she can get back and check her Gather. And carries her computer to the cafe's internet hot spots. Can you say hooked?
Her favorite music is Russian Folk Music. A couple of her favourite artists are Vladimir Vysotsky, and The Red Army Choir. She likes the Old James Bond Movies with Sean Connery, and watchs TV shows like Frasier, The Simpsons, the stuff on A&E and the History Channel.
She is a published writer by profession, having published a Danish Cookbook, Tak for Mad .
She is turned on by men in uniforms, thick accents (Like Russian/East Europeans), brilliant minds, and romantic music.
Leah gave us the following samples of her work.

I've sorted my in-coming Gather stuff into filtered folders.
Gather Articles (everyone's articles)
Gather Images (everyone's images
Gather Comments (when someone comments on one of my things)
Gather Watch (articles like this that I want to follow)
If I didn't keep track of it that way, I'd get lost. haha I have things filtered so incoming items go straight to those folders instead of my inbox.
Thanks Taliah, for the wonderful comment. I really appreciate it. He did a fantastic article on YOU too!! ;-)
Leah bask in the fame while it lasts girl and stay balanced on that see saw! Your a favorite in my book. (((( Hugs ))))
Nicole, you're right. I will say it if it's true, and if I mean it. It won't always be positive, but it will be honest and accurate. That's a guarentee!!
Right now I'm sitting here trying to figure out how I can persuede the entire Red Army Choir to move to Guelph, where I am right now, and serenade me at my command. You have any ideas how I might go about doing that?!
My GOD, I'm climbing the walls, just thinking about that!!!!!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!
Knowing what you know about me from the article above, can you imagine how I'd react to a couple hundred Russian guys showing up on my doorstep singing??!!
And then my father's reaction when I show up with "a few friends" on Christmas day?!
OK what do you suggest I do now that I have managed to turn my apartment into a steam room? tehehehe
I can't think of any greater turnon than a guy (or a couple hundred of them!!) with a Russian accent!! YOWZA!!! I need to find some links to some music by Vladimir Vysotsky, for you. Actually I wrote an article a while back called "Music to write by." It has some links to some of my favourites, all the wonderful voices that make me want to climb things!!
Thanks for your wonderful suggestions, and I will DEFINITELY let you know what happens when they find me!! ;-)
I haven't had time to check out Who's Who, but clearly you are well-loved. I will check out your articles. Looking forward to getting to know you!
Yvette
