How Many group's do you own?

I own three groups. One is just me as a member, but I figured since I planned a lot of articles on this subject a group idea would be nice.

The others are a writer group for NaNoWriMo and one for mothers/parents/guardians etc, to showcase the artwork of the children in their lives.

I own three as well. Truckers Widows, Stephen King Fans, and All About Sewing.

I own two groups - Ghosttowns & Back Country Travel and Excerpts From An Exercise Diary, which have very distinct topics to stick with., both which are important to me.

At present 23 but I have had more & may have less soon.

I have three. I don't see me expanding that too much because there's already so many groups out there that I can usually find other groups that fit my interests. If however I came up with some funky idea that didn't have a group related to it already, I wouldn't hesitate to make another.

I wish more people would consolidate the duplicate groups, but I'm sure most do not want to give up their own groups. If I saw groups similar to mine, I would close most of them and move articles to those groups.

I have 2 groups (breastfeeding and quit smoking).. I would only create another group if the need arose and there was not a group for that topic.

I have one Indigo child and then I have my links to many of my other repositories that are all inneractive, many have different writings on it and then i keep my own private file, but here on Gather I just use Indigo Child and don't understand the need for many groups on one site, but thank you for giving me the insight on why you do what you do. I have 8. Why? Because once I made the first one, the other stuff didn't fit in it. Therefore I made another one, and stuff didn't fit in that one either. And so on. Ended up with 8, and no longer have the problem as the last one that I did is

We all do that and if I'd searched for RANT, instead of VENT, the group wouldn't have existed.

I think that's it. As for anything else, I can now find other groups to post to.

I have 3 groups and one is for Thanksgiving and will be done shortly after the event. I also have a blog on lulu and they have us send in a request before starting a group. If it is similar to another group they ask if we would rather join that group or start one of our own. It might be nice if gather had something like that - I wouldn't mind consolidating as long as the moderator had a similar vision but will probably stick with the 2 main ones I have.

One is enough for me -and I post in other's that pertain to my interests' and all my other portel's on youtube the largest - I have more viewers there than all the people that come to Gather--and myspace and spaces and- adictive clips a Canadian site and ......
