Amazing race..An amazing gift for the last...

What a season this is turning out to be...now that the 6 pack has been broken up I wonder how that will affect the race...Though I am glad since I personally don' t think all these alliances are what the race is all about.

But a great thing happened yesterday...The Kentucky couple were guests on The View.. at the end of the show, they were surprised by a few gifts...and what incredible gifts!...First they were given a few trips so that their children would be able to experience travel and not be like their parents who had never traveled anywhere...Then they were given a car, an SUV...Then, drumroll please, they were given a house!

An unbelievable gift wouldn't you say? Yes, it seems to me they were really big winners....now if only she would have her teeth fixed!

I'm not surprised a show gave them a house, vehicle and trips, as they mentioned they needed help a lot on the show. I am glad they will be able to travel with their children. I agree about the unbelievable gift.

It's hard to believe but over 80% of Americans do not have a passport or have ever left the country. I'm glad the Kentucky couple had this experience. Let them spread the word about the joys of travel.

Yeah, I don't have a passport and have traveled out of the country only to Mexico. Personally I don't think it's a neccessity in life. Would I like to travel to Europe or Asia or Australia? Of course! I think money is a factor for most people...and not being able to leave their jobs for a couple of weeks.

They are very lucky to be given those things...there are a lot of people who would be happy with just one of those things.

Not that I am living in squalor or anything...just giving my opinion.

WOW! I didn't know they got that. I'm glad they did. It's those amazing things that happen to ordinary people that can change lives. Just like that Extreme Home Makeover show - the people who get new homes (and they are new!) are having a life changing event and maybe that will trickle to others in the world.
