I try to police myself on Gather, and in doing so, I noted the other day that I had been posting the wrong 'kind' of topics to one group. It is very hard for me to remember just what it is exactly that some of the groups are all about. The "Post what you want" types are easy, but some of the others like "You Should Read This" are more vague. What I would like to see sometime in the future is an eventual catagorization of the focus of the group. Like, books, or humor, or general opinions, etc.
It would be nice too if someday we can arrange our groups by type, maybe in a drop down menu format? Eventually too, I would like to see my People in a menu too, instead of having to go through several pages to get to the one I might want to read. It would be so nice to have the pages be 1 2 3 4 instead of the current format of 1>>.

...it is my understanding that additional Gather Group functionality will be forthcoming soon (of course, 'soon' is open to interpretation).
Having extended pagination options would be helpful as well. In the interim, I have found a technique which works very well for displaying more members/articles/images per page, and for 'skipping' ahead to specific pages of content (instead of clicking 'next' multiple times).
