Have you these ads? Earn $5000 parttime or $10,000 fulltime. Did you think to yourself "Yeah right!" I did but it did not stop me from taking a closer look and getting more information. And I found time and time again that it was basically the same generic website with just different images and success stories. I even found one site that had the EXACT same wording as another sites I visited.
Let me tell you how these sites work. First they intrigue you with promises of wealth , becoming debt free and buying all things you always wanted. You pay a fee, anywhere from $50 to $500(they usually tell you that you will earn the fee back in 30 to 60 days) and you either receive a informational CD, DVD or ebook with a bunch of worthless information. Some will send you information on how they want YOU to make THEM money by marketing their product. Most of the time these 'business opportunities' will show you how to build a website just like the one you first visited. Then you go about marketing and advertising your new site with the hopes that someone just like you will sign up and pay a fee to get the same information that you got. All in all the individual that first created the site is the one getting rich because they are going to make profits off of anyone that signs up under you and anyone that signs up under them. And so on and so forth. I'm pretty sure you COULD possibly make that kind of money if you spent a lot of money advertising. But you would have to work REAL hard to generate that kind of money. Not to mention there are those who figured out THE PLAN and will use that information to scam you. You will send your money to one of these web sites only to find out after you have set up your site it will be down in a few days or weeks. And good luck trying to get your money back. Even if it says money back guarentee it usually isn't. They figure you will get tired of chasing them and eventually give up.
I did however find a site that was highly recommeded. It is called The Vemma Builder. It is a multi level marketing plan that will show you how to successfully run your own home based business. You will receive a informative CD about there product for FREE. You will then pay a fee to your MENTOR who will show you how to build your business from the ground up. They work with you side by side via conference calls and emails. The purpose is to build up your downline so that you will earn profits from anyone who signs up after you. Not under you. The thing is you don't get credit for anyone in the downline if you have not upgraded your membership to an active status. And anyone who signs up and becomes a member before you will be taken from your downline.
Don't get me wrong. You CAN make money with these ventures. It just will take a while as with any business to build it up. And you also must beware of scams. Do not send your money to anyone just for some information. If they are making that much money they would not need to charge you just for more information. Make sure you DO YOUR RESEARCH!! This will save you from losing a lot of money. Take it from someone who knows.
