At 9:25 on Saturday night I hit 11,269 for my word count. So I'm ahead of the game.
Today is the anniversary of my brother's suicide. I was going to drive to the cemetary but I woke up feeling very blah and also congested. The cemetary is a two hour drive in each direction. I would have to drive through San Francisco (there is no freeway that goes around it without taking you way off course) and that means that the drive could take even longer with tourists screwing it up!
So I am home and I don't feel like working on my novel. Although, there is a suicide in my novel, actually based on my brother's suicide so I am thinking maybe I can write about the feelings and the way we found out when it happened. Then I can take care of my needs to unload today and put it away so it will be handy some place when I get to that point of the novel.
Life is hard sometimes.
