Ok, barf it up, Gather!
Just because I clicked on Larger Image while in compose mode, you tossed out my hour-and-a-half's worth of work into the nether regions because your Viewer won't let me return to the article to finish or to publish, as I would.
Well, you 'll never know what was in store, so there! And, as they say, that's an hour and a half I'll never get back, so it's raspy raspberries to your Image Viewer which is on the heavy-handed side, I must say.
Ok, so someone out there knows a secret about this dilemma, and if you do, please share! This is not the first time I've had to scuttle an article due to image loading problems.
I am most sad, Gather.
You have saddened me to the point of removing myself to the nature outside my door--perhaps I shall arrange and design some shrubbery instead and let those who drip with tech savvy cross swords with your quirky Image Viewer Which Swallows Articles Alive.
Yet while I am sad, there is a baby girl who is, as you see, a happy-faced elfin creature of much delight! Elves may trump Gather gremlins any day, imho.
So there!

Hope you are having fun in your garden
But if Gather had a save-as-you-go feature as Joanne says, I'd be happy as a puppy with two tails! A Save as Draft feature would be most excellent for the dimwits among us (yours truly.) How hard could that be?
Obviously I must remind myself--again--to avoid the Larger Image tab when articulating!
Thanks, Penina--that should do me some good if I can remember to try it! Or, along Martha's lines, I could start composing BEFORE I type--then at least it would be saved on paper. My bad, for sure...
;)
if a PC is your workhorse you anc hit the CTRL ke and 'A' and select all then hit CTRL and 'C' and copy it... if Gather black holes your work you can pste it into the empty box that often comes up.
mona, your troll-headed gremlin habits may be lamentable yet necessary....proceed with care...
