Do you ever hear a song and have to play it over and over to capture a feeling?  It is much like falling in love.  I bought new music today and I discovered this song.  I can't stop playing it. 

What song are you currently in love with?

The song is called Chasing Cars and is by Snow Patrol

Yes, sometimes I'll want to hear the same piece of music over and over for many weeks, then it will change. I guess it depends on the mood I'm in.

I agree....its haunting and can fit just about any age group of those who have known in the past or in the present, love and trust...just as addictive as "Sometimes" by group called Candlebox...

I like "Chasing Cars" as well, it is so soothing. My current favorites to get me to kick it in gear: "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'"-Scissor Sisters; "Lips of an Angel"-Hinder; "Maneater"-Nelly Furtado. As for song lyrics, my daughter had me download "It Gets Better"-Jo Dee Messina. I don't really enjoy country music that much, but it has a beautiful message. I also really like Bob Seger's CD, "Face the Promise".

When I was 15 I loved the "Carousel" song by the Hollies and probably drove my mom nuts playing it all the time. Our son did me one better though. He recorded a loop of Radar Love and just played it on tape in his car. He about drove ME nuts with that. Truly, I don't think my life would be half as interesting or full without music. What really makes me laugh is that I can remember the words to songs just fine, but not the mundane everyday stuff. Go figure.

I love this song. The lyrics are beautiful. When I am in the car I station hop to see if I can hear my favorite song as of now....It is "The Riddle".

I can't get away from that stupid Justin Timberlake song "Bring the sexy back," or something like that. Jesus, it's playing at the gym, in stores, on the radio, and they're using it for promos on t.v. Ahhhhhhhhh I can't get it out of my head. And the worst part is, it's actually kinda catchy. Please Ozzy help me!!!!

I have an obsession right now with the song "Home" by Michael Buble. Has anyone heard of him? I am in China so I never know what is in or out..but I bought his cd at the copy shop and I love it. In the lyrics, he is homesick and just wants to go home. I guess that is me right now. I like my life in Asia but occasionally I have very deep bouts of "wanting to go home" to good ole' South Carolina. Great post!
