The Iraq War is the most important issue that we will vote on this Tuesday. I think we've come a long way in Iraq, and despite all the problems, victory is at hand if we stand united. We simply can not afford to lose this war, so we must give our full support.
A Democrat majority will render George Bush a lame duck president and this will only prolong the war - at the expense of our troops. Besides, as many mistakes as have been made by the Republicans, I still see no reason to reward the Democrats who have intensely criticized the President for five years. They've done nothing to support our efforts in Iraq, rather, they are willing to accept defeat to spite a president in their effort to get back a majority.
I hope anyone who is not sure who they will be voting for takes this into consideration and votes Republican on Tuesday.

I give you a 10.

The idea is they would be basically autonomous states, and it would solve the sectarian violence. This is the main obstacle to peace. It would be much easier to get them to agree to this than a central government strong over all.
Yes you've convinced me, and since you have, I'll go vote for you, and you bet, I'll vote for the republicans, so you just rest there, I'll take care of it, strong Bush, yeah, I have it under control.
Best regards, Ron

No Don, really, It's on my way home and I have a full tank of gas, I'll get it. Don't you have a program on TV you wanted to watch that day? I could have sworn you told me you did. TV guide? I don't know where that old TV guide got off to, but I wouldn't risk it if I was you, I know how you hate to miss your programs. Don't worry, it's all under control.
As I see, we are in a war. The Democrats want to throw up the white flag, the Republicans want to finish victoriously.
If you really look at Bush's record, he's had the most difficult problems thrown his way. He did not ask for the Dot Com implosion, or the corporate scandals, or 911. Yet here we are five years later with a strong, growing economy, no terrorists attacks on American soil since 911, Saddam convicted of crimes against humanity, Osama hiding in a cave somehwere, thousands of known terrorists dead or in jail. Keep it going... five years is not enough time to finish. Give Bush the time he needs and you will see good results. You guys are impatient.
Honesty is the best way to win someone's trust. And, I've not seen honesty from this administration. Has Bush ever apologized for the faulty intelligence he presented as factual? What about the people that elected him?
I'm not sure about a strong economy. Here in OHio it sucks. There are NO jobs. I just graduated this spring and half of my class is working at Craker Barrel or something as equally stupid. Even finding a job at a retail store or decent resteraunt (like Olive Garden or Applebees) is incrediably competative.
Ohio has one of the highest unemployment rates. Along with that crimes - especially those related to families has gone up. By this I mean abuse cases.
As toughest problems...that perhaps goes to Lincoln or Roosevelt...
This President is more like Goldwater!
Ohio economy is the exception to the rule. I used to live in Long Island, and it was really hard to live there because of high taxes, high electric, expensive housing, etc. I moved to Florida and have no regrets.
Come on, Don. You know damn well that leaky bunch of antiques from the Iran Iraq war doesn't even come close to counting. If it did, and so on and so on, we've done this before why do we have to keep doing this?
