Being here

I really like coming to Gather most days(tho' the ones I don't..well, then I don't bother coming ;P). I feel some connection, maybe a bit of home in the way people here can be welcoming. I get answers to my questions, advice--things I expect from long time friends, I find more often than not, right here.

I've gotten gift ideas(really helps when on a budget!), and have had some laughs. I even get to bitch!!! I come here with boyfriend troubles and have a few "siblings" ready with an answer or shoulder.

Sad thing is, when I feel I've nothing left to do, I really don't feel like signing off. So, this is my answer to tonights not wanting to sign off...I'm writing this and playing a game(lol).

The funny thing is, I feel like I know some of you better than those I've met and/or been friends with for awhile. And there are those I really wish I could meet, but don't see it happening(I'm really an introvert--anything over 3 people...EEEK!!!). With age comes more fright on my behalf, but so far here I haven't met anyone that feels like is going to be a absolute back-stabber(I've no reason to hurt you, and vice versa).

And I'm babbling, so I'm sorry if this really makes little to no sense...I know I would like to say something(s), but oh well.

Anyways, everyone here have a good night. I'm sure I'll be around a few minutes longer....
