The White House deliberately distorted John Kerry's clumsy comment about Bush's stupidity earlier this week. Yet the liberal media amplified the administration's spin for two days, effectively "swift boating" Kerry - again.
The story that was barely mentioned was a website that was pulled down by intelligence authorities after the NY Times published a story, describing detailed instructions that would be helpful to anyone wanting to construct a nuclear bomb. Apparently, this website was authorized by the WH when republican legislators pushed for it, thinking that the general public could discover evidence for WMDs in Iraq, which intelligence personnel had been unable to. In short, the political agenda of congressional republicans trumped national security, and the WH was complicit in its authorization.
Can anyone tell me why this is not treason?
