Watching sunsets on Grand Manan is practically a community pastime. There is a place on the Western Side of the Island called the Whistle. Upon arrival at the end of the Whistle road you first see the Lighthouse, and then there is a look off which has some bleachers to sit on. If you go there on any given evening in the summer you will find neighbours, friends and tourists there. Some even bring along their own refreshments. My friend Wes has given me permission to post some of pictures that he has taken.
