This guy deserves the best costume award for this one.

 Man Costumed as Osama Arrested in Maine
The man was dressed in an Osama Bin Laden costume and holding a fake gun and a sign that said "I love TABOR". Officers raced to the scene and drew their weapons on the man, an attorney and political activist.

I think it was the gun that got him in trouble, not the costume. An attorney/activist should have been able to figure that one out.
Fun for Halloween anyway.
As for the fake gun.
I'd say

fake gun= trouble

ok, activist or not.... the guy had a GUN (admittedly Fake). Officers were not sure it was fake at the time they responded. Therefore they responded appropriately. The gun is what got him in trouble, not the costume, IMHO.

The fake gun was a bad idea. But the costume must have been pretty well done to get such a reaction!

And who knows, maybe he is hiding in Maine . . . it would be one of the last places I would think to look.

Ok..I watch the video.. for one Id be little perterbed too about the sign other then that Im sure he wasnt the only one out dressed in a fake costume like that.. so there is some humor and some thats not in the whole thing Im not sure weather to laugh or be mad. lol
Mabey they really did think it was him.. and thats bad.. to make someone think that..
