Master of the Breakfast Club

I wake up every morning
Pour coffee in a cup
And stop to read an article
To pick my spirit up

The message light and friendly
Is a gentle wake-up call
It starts "Good Morning Gather"
And it welcomes one and all

The messenger reminds us
To hug those we hold dear
With bits of country humor
With sweetness and good cheer

With stories shared throughout the day
His wisdom to impart
With courtesy and caring
And gentleness of heart

His comments nurturing and kind
His counsel sage and wise
His mastery of diplomacy
Is where his talent lies

Linda, well written on how I think so many of us gathered here feel about William. I don't know how he does it but he seems to be able to reach through those internet wires and give us all a hug when we need it most. And you, Linda, are an inspiring poet!
William is going to need more coffee, he must be off tending to his animals, as I haven't seen him all day.
