Recording EVP with your computer.

With Halloween here, I thought I would look up a way to scare my kids. I thought this would be neat so I did some research on this subject. EVP is called the "Electric Voice Phenomena".

EVP is the way of capturing ghostly voices using white noise. White noise is like the noise you hear out of your television when there is just white static coming out of it.

www.aaevp.com is a great site in getting information on gathering EVP for your enjoyment or spooky night. Some ways of gathering EVP are with a tape recorder, on video tape and even your own home computer.

I am going to try this, but I need a microphone for my computer first. But this will be a fun trial thing to do. What do you think.

Hi Trish: I am very much familiar with the site you are talking about and have listened to quite a few of the EVPs. It really is quite fascinating. I have a microphone, but I'm not sure how to do it through my computer. If you figure out how, please send me a message.
