Problem with aping the dialogue-based Hemingway piece "The Killers" is that, if handled by a quill of lesser ilk, dialogues are sure to come stilted, and scene obliquely drawn out. For this piece, the last line saved it though. Could use some restraint with the underlying authorial angst.
The problem is, it is a 55er. Hence it was written the way it was. Now I never cared for Hemingway. So I do not really know what you are saying, Emeniano. Not that it makes any difference to me.
