Finding one who adored me
Who thought the world of me
Loved me as an equal
as one
as all
Someone who wanted to be with me
Couldn't stand to be away from me
Wanted what I thought was best
Listened to my ideas
thoughts
and dreams
He didn't care that I was taller than him
Our age never mattered
Our families were just that
But:
I wasn't the one.
He had no problem being away from me
My thoughts are confusing
jumbled
and all I have left.
