By the time I was through in the bathroom this morning my wife had coffee ready. I took time to look out the window at the trees, cats, dogs, etc. while I was drinking the coffee and went to the computer in a good frame of mind.
The Good Morning Gather article asking for suggestions on the group banner, which Kevin will make for us, had a lot of comments. By the way, thanks Kevin. I knew it would take half the day working with this slow dialup to acknowledge the comments.
I was not good started when my wife yelled; "Cut off the water;" and I was sprayed by water. I was startled, scared and maybe little panicked. What had happened? A water pipe going to the washing machine had come apart. The doors to the washing machine closet and to the bedroom where my computer desk is were all open.
I grabbed a crescent wrench and headed to the water meter to cut the water off. The main thing I was worried about the whole time was my computer. My computer might be ruined. I'm not going to take the time now to go into details now but I got the pipe fixed. The water did not get on the computer.
What makes you think is how you can go from being sleepy to feeling wide awake and calm, to panic, to worry, and back to calm in such a short time. I don't know if things like this happen to everyone or not. If so maybe it will be mentioned in the comments.
