Hi,

Don't we all have someone on our gift list that we don't know what to get for their Christmas gift, who, in spite of the season we really don't like too much? Let's think up some great <ha> gifts for these folks!

One time at work years ago, I had bought these stuffed cartoon dolls- some were "good "dolls and some was "bad/evil" dolls. I had gotten them on sale for a quarter each!! Well I gave the Evil cartoon dolls to the nasty workers and I gave the good ones to the nice people. What made it funny was that no one figured it out. I did wind up telling a friend later on.

Marilyn read my mind on this one! My oldest brother is simply impossible to buy anything for -- he only likes fancy things like Patagonia outdoorwear. So for many years we have gotten gag gifts for him. One year it was a fake box of chocolates with (pretend) ticks (he used to have a lot of the real ones at his "tick farm"). I'd also make him funny parody song tapes (more fun with ticks -- like "Rocky Mountain High with spotted fever"). Let's just hope that we don't get the Aldi (Whizzo?) chocolate assortment from the relatives this year!

My husbands ex-wife wrapped up old socks and had their sons give them to him for Christmas. The boys didn't know what the present was till he unwrapped them. It was very embarassing for the boys. Good present to give to someone you don't like. Just don't use your kids like that.
My husband was great he acted like it was the best present ever to try to make the boys not feel so bad.
