I subscribe to the newsletter for the National Fibromyalgia Association website and some time ago they were offering a couple free samples of O24 for Fibro Pain. I saved them like they were gold, telling myself I would use them 'in an emergency' when the localized pain somewhere just got to be too much. That event happened on Oct. 19th when the pain in my neck and upper shoulder just was not abating. I happened to be in a doctor's waiting room at the time, so the aroma of essential oils wasn't totally unexpected. I don't usually do any fragrance in any doctor's office, but I was really in pain. The samples I had were in little packets and contain moist towelettes. I rubbed the towelette on my neck and it shocked me that within a few minutes it really alleviated the pain! No one complained about the aroma, even though I was sure they could smell it.
This pain medication can be purchased online until the end of the year through the Swiss Medica site and they will donate $4 of each purchase to the National Fibromyalgia Association. Also, it is available at several drug stores like Rite Aid, Savon Drugs, CVS, Eckerd's, etc. Or, you could call your favorite store to see if they carry it. I purchased the towelettes because I didn't want to carry a spray bottle with me in my purse. It looks like it might come in some stick form too, which would be good also. The donation offer though is just for the spray and towelettes.
