{11 frosty photos, for those gathering on dial-up}

we were up early yesterday. the sun was just rising over the trees, mist was drifting across the lake...obscuring the shadows on the water.

a heron swooped away, while a seagull circled many times before settling atop the water.

the sun made a growing path across the frost-touched leaves and grass, bathing nature in a golden glow, illuminating the life within.

the tiny tendrils of frost quickly melted, leaving leaves and grass slightly damp. oh, glorious morning!

thank you, thank you!
Exquisite!
The 3rd and 4th pics just blew me away. What an eye you have, darlin'! What type of bird was that? Do you know? Kingfisher? Blue jay?
Your photos of sunny dawn really made me feel better on this dreary and drained day. Thanks Jessie
