Curtain Hangers
Frisky
Kitty frolics
Blurred in a carpet chase
With a competitive sibling
Who both go vertical on drapery
And stop as wavering fur balls
Who are quickly chased down
By squirt bottle,
Frisky

Still, there is something in the unabashed exuberence of a small kitten, that can generate mirth even when you are feeling crabby.
This was many years ago. I didn't learn about the awesome deterrent power of a spray bottle until a few years later.
My friend has cats that hate being sprayed so much that all they need to see is her reaching for the water bottle to skidaddle.
Nice poem.
They are, Larry.
Thank you, Mugg, and especially for your story. I agree. When they get older you only need to shake the bottle and--poof!
Thank you, Shaunee.
Thank you, Juniper, it really works!
Ok, Amy, I just put it away. Here, kitty, kitty!
Thank you, Christine. I only learned the trick several years ago. Looking back on my various cats, all the pulled fabrics from couches to curtains . . . sigh . . . well, I know it now. The power is mine, ha, ha, ha!
Score. . . 10 x 10 = 100!
I appreciate your comment, Bluey, thank you.

Thank you, Julian. My sympathies on your leg. How about here a scratch, there a scratch . . .
Funny, Dee--I'm still laughing.
