Today I finally got around to going through hundreds of floppy diskettes (3 1/2 inch) to see if I could salvage the data. My computer does not have a floppy drive so I went out and bought an external one for the job. I was very frustrated to find that of over 100 pictures I was only able to salvage two, of my son's Senior Prom. Of my stories and poems and journal writes, I was only able to recover about 20 stories and poems. I am saving the diskettes in hopes that somehow I will be able to retrieve the data.
The poem below is one I salvaged. It is written in Spanish then translated to English so hang on if you don't read Spanish and skip to the bottom. Enjoy!
