Controversial title, but a controversy at the heart of George Bush's supposed values...watch this video, and lets discuss this.

I watched and I have no idea what was being said past "Hate George Bush".

Niether enlightening nor correct and definitely non-constructive.

Christene...thanks on the work part, I made that video...you'd be surprised, it is not near as far fetched as you might think. For instance, the quotes in the movies on freedom, and there are others. Bush's use of faith based groups to win over the masses by enabling them to be the voice of his policies is a page right out of Hitler's play book.

Gotta hand it to liberals, they vote socialist, then stay at home living of the tit of the people who work for a living (me) and then try to further destroy our country with their silly politcs.

Silly politics...since when is almost three thousand dead American Troops silly? Since when is it silly to make fair comparisons relating how both Hitler and Bush used/co-opted religion for their own goals and agenda?

I dont understand the comparison. Did not Hitler destroy all of the Bibles from peoples homes and Hitler was against the Jews, Bush isnt against the Jews. So wouldnt it be safe to say as many similarities that you find to support your cause, we could probably find as many if not more, that Bush and Hitler are quite opposites.

There goes 4 minutes and 29 seconds of my life I will never get back...and I believe it was the biggest waste of time I have experienced in all my life.

There was no point; your comparisons were so weak that I believe nearly all of them could have been related to any of our past presidents as well.

Tony: "Truth hurts, doesn't it" What truth??? Now I understand why you are as ignorant as you appear...then ""Porgie, another great find. Keep'em comin'." Great what? A radio news clip from a Hitler speech with pics of GW thrown in...I think both of you have truly lost your minds...

OK, let's get the FACTS straight:

'Night of the long Knives' the 'purging' of the SA members of the Nazi party, basically killing everyone in his own organization that the SS did not feel met their standards.

The Nazi's arrested or murdered many their political rivals, ensuring that their party would take complete control of the government: "In the November 1933 one-party Elections, Nazism gained 92.2% of the Electorate."

Hitler never won the presidential election, after forcing a run off with Hindenburg a political deal was made that made him Chancellor. Two years later Hindenburg died and HItler succeeded him, all the while spewing his anti-Semitic and anti-communist views, making him a polarizing figure from the outset.

Poland was NOT Hitler's first military move, it was the first contested however. He 'annexed' Austria and the Sunderland a year earlier. Once he invaded Poland, he was immediately at war with France and Britain, and then invaded the Soviet Union just over a year later, making his desire for world domination abundantly clear.

This could go on forever, but the comparisons are ludicrous, disingenuous and nothing more than the extreme left grasping at another way to attack the current administration.

So many feel that going to Iraq was all Prez Bush and his dictator ways?...lol...Have any idea how many Dem's approved of this war?......I do,..Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle announced he supports Bush on Iraq, saying it is important for the country "to speak with one voice at this critical moment."

Daschle, D-South Dakota, said the threat of Iraq's weapons programs "may not be imminent. But it is real. It is growing. And it cannot be ignored."
""I believe we have an obligation to protect the United States by preventing him from getting these weapons and either using them himself or passing them or their components on to terrorists who share his destructive intent," said Gephardt, who helped draft the measure.

126 House Democrats who voted for the Iraq war

"....over 600 SIGNING STATEMENTS and growing....yes, he is bypassing the Congress. "--could you state your source please..THX

Christene, do a simple search on Bush/signing statements....there are more sources than I could list here in a week.

As to Democrats supporting the war...it's been proved conclusively that the Bush administration COOKED the intel that Congress saw...in short, they voted on data that had been deliberately skewed and altered by Bush.

- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and th! e means of delivering them."
- Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."

Tom Daschle > February 11, 1998
"The (Clinton) administration has said, 'Look, we have exhausted virtually our diplomatic effort to get the Iraqis to comply with their own agreements and with international law. Given that, what other option is there but to force them to do so?' That's what they're saying. This is the key question. And the answer is we don't have another option. We have got to force them to comply, and we are doing so militarily."

Bill Clinton > February 17, 1998
"We have to defend our future from these predators of the 21st Century.... They will be all the more lethal if we allow them to build arsenals of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them. We simply cannot allow that to happen. There is no more clear example of this threat than Saddam Hussein."

Bill Clinton > December 17, 1998
"Earlier today, I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq.... Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors."

I guess George was even at it in '98?

Steve....myself.....I'd be supportive of a strategic premptive strike in Iran, but only if we used a serious nuke, and took out Tehran. World War II was ended because we used the bomb, instantly devasted Japan, and shocked the world into waking up to the horrid realities of war. Iran would not be attacking us if Tehran and two million people were gone in the blink of an eye.

Bushbots; the weapons did not exist. The WMD were destroyed during the inspections following the first Iraq War I...the inspections worked then and during the days leading to Iraq War II. Iraq never attacked the United States and were no threat. Iran was and still is the threat in that region; not Iraq.

The weapons have not been found after the surveillance lies were shown to the world. The Bush administration embarassed many who believed their fabrications, including leaders worldwide. Bush and others lied about terrorist being Iraq who assisted in the attacks on 9/11. ALL LIES!!!!!!!

Truth is the antidote to deceit, conceit, and arrogance.

Bush lied about capturing or killing Bin Laden. They, still have not accomplished the number one purpose of the "War on Bin Laden." Bush lies about conditions in Iraq improving, while the war rages into chaos and you still defend him?

People are dead because of Bush's negligence, arrogance, and deceit. Ask the dead veterans, New Orlean's citizens, innocent Iraqi citizens, and the 3000 souls who died on 9/11. If their lives have meaning, Bush and his hegemony of cronies must no longer occupy leadership roles in the executive branch of American Government.

It is time for change!

When bush rolls tanks into Canada and Mexico and murders millions of Muslims or non-Christians. When Bush carpet bombs Mexico City or murders all undesirables. When Bush burns all the books that he feels have a bad influence on our society. When Bush takes away all our weapons. When Bush rounds up all his political adversaries and executes them in firing squads (night of the long knives). Then and only then can you compare him to Hitler.

Is it possible that some day an American President could become demented and delusional like Hitler? Yes. Is it possible that it will work for that president? No it could never happen because we can boot them out of office before any damage is done.

You have wasted everyone's time with your ill-conceived video Shame on you.

Why it's the identical twins Tony S and Hitler.

Charles,

You seem very anxious to see all motivation against moving further toward despotism as "hate". Why can't a person simply be against such a thing because they feel it's wrong? If you thought it was happening, would you not try to do something to stop it?

"Why can't a person simply be against such a thing because they feel it's wrong? "
John you have every right to your opinions, and to express them. But articles such as this cross the line. When faced with the actual FACTS, they are shown to be what they really are, a farce. Express yourselves, by all means, but when you cross the line you will be called on it.

Porgie:
"Republicans expect us to sit meekly by as we labeled and marched off to camps"
Who has been marched off? Actually, name me one American who has been detained and questioned without merit? If you are going to compare the US to Nazi Germany, and reference it as such, then be prepared to back it up or just back off.

Tony:
"Careful John, you're asking him to exercise rational thought."
You don't know the meaning, so you really shouldn't make such statements.

Again, no substance from the liberal crowd.

Bush was elected twice. He's two terms. We've got the majority in both houses, the executive and a conservative majority in the judical. Liberals need to figure out why this has happened. Stop bashing conservatives and look in the mirror.

Nazis in the attic, part 6

By Randy Davis

GEORGE HERBERT WALKER BUSH

...Like Nixon, George Bush was deeply involved with supporting the Nazis in the Republican's closet. In fact, support for the Nazis was a Bush family tradition which goes back more than six decades and, once again, to Allen Dulles.

Loftus and Aarons write: "The real story of George Bush starts well before he launched his own career. It goes back to the 1920s, when the Dulles brothers and the other pirates of Wall Street were making their deals with the Nazis. . . ." Check out the link.

Your closed mindedness and arrogance is exactly how Hitler and Bush defined their strategy to distort truth. The Bush family helped bring many Gustapo type intelligence agents into the CIA during the cold war to fight communism, while simultaneously continued teaching the Republican party how to shape rural America's thinking into the present staus quo. You are the face and the voice for their ideals in today's culture of speaking loud and wrong headed.

By believing in some Republican party narcissistic leaders, you become whatever they tell you to become. And people who deceive you, and many others to follow their ideals, are preparing you for a huge downfall into an abyss that is similar to what happened to the German people, unless you learn to think, question, ask and realize what the truth is that will stop your downward spiral.

Should you continue to defend these horrendous people and help vote them into power, you help destroy American ideals of integrity in local, national, and international governance that always error on the side of hope.

If you do not care and want to remain foolish. The choice is yours. We will end this political chaos with the facts of truth.

Talmadge...well written responses. I was aware of the Bush family history in Nazi Germany, and where a huge portion of their original wealth came from, which is one of the driving forces behind my making of the video.

Talmadge - George H W Bush is the president's father. I am so glad you can keep your facts straight in a debate.

Porgie - there is no doubt that you are talented at the technical aspects of making a video. What you are lacking is the ability to make a logical and compelling argument or even to illustrate a cogent thought.

Given that both were leaders of their nations, it would be miraculous if you couldn't find enough film clips and sound bites to make this video. I bet you could do the same thing with ALL of our Presidents.

Being a person of faith applies to billions of people worldwide. How that makes a person the equivalent of Hitler is beyond me.

Given time, I bet someone could pull your posts and then pull equivalent quotes from Charles Manson. Does that mean you are a mass murderer?

Nanci.....first, it's common knowledge that the Bush family wealth was amassed on profits from Nazi Germany, and a special bill passed through our own Congress all those years ago. Another major portion of the Bush family wealth came from some rather disturbing involvements with the Bin Laden Family, and a 50 million dollar loan.

Curious, have you ever actually checked out the Bush family...every one of Jebb Bush's children have had run ins with the law, Jebb himself was involved in some shady business dealings during his time in Latin America. Both of George's girls had their own brushes with the law, only difference is, all this children were handled with KID GLOVES because of who their parents were. Even George Bush himself is rumored to have paid for the abortion of a girl he impregnated while attending Yale. I know for a fact, that George Bush twice was found passed out under a street lamp on the Campus, drunk as a skunk....family values...give me a break.

Have you looked into the North American Union that Bush is trying to get formed by the year 2010? Did you know it's laws and tribunals would SUPERCEDE our laws, and that George Bush is slated to be it's FIRST PRESIDENT, with NO TERM LIMITS, and no elections.....SWEET DEAL HUH?

Porgie- what on God's green earth does any of that have to do with the video you made.

The President is not his brother's keeper. Gee, brothers that allegedly do stupid things. It's a large fraternity - Hilary Rodham Clinton's brother was involved in shady dealings. Jimmy Carter's brother had his own brushes with the law.

If Bush's ancestors amassed their wealth as you say, what is your point? It doesn't make Bush the American Hitler.

Nor does the vision you described make him the American Hitler.

The proof is in the putting? That's scary.

Nanci....curious here how much you have actually studied Nazi Germany, Adolf Hitler, and the build up to the Holocaust? Are you aware that Hitler claimed to be of the Lutheran faith, that much of the early success of Hitler and his minions was through faith based organizations? A great deal of the Nazi medals hold a great deal of religious symbolism to them, be more than happy to post up some pictures that might awaken your intellectual desire to research this topic more before you come into this thread and discredit my facts and theories. Are you aware of George's belonging to a secret fraternity, or a very special group that gathers once a year out west that the Bush family is intimately involved in?

George Bush's status as a deserter, failing to fulfill his military duty is the LEAST of what concerns me about him, and the Bush clan. I did not vote for them in 2000, nor in 2004, and history will show that one of the darkest moments of our democracy will have been his time as President of the United States...he, and his entire family are evil personified.

Actually yes I am. My grandfather was a freedom fighter who was forced to flee the country or be killed. My grandmother spent two years in hiding with my aunt and uncle until Poppa could raise the money to bring them here.

I haven't argued the truth or falsity of your assertions. I have maintained throughout that these 'facts' you rely on do not support your thesis that Hitler and Bush are alike.

You have great passion. I have no doubt that you believe deeply in what you say. But even if everything you say is 100% true, your video still lacks a cogent thesis, explanation and end. It is unfortunately a trend of the left to equate Bush to Hitler but you cannot make a silk purse from a sow's ear.

Nanci...you make it obvious that you DO NOT understand the medium being worked within.....on you tube, at best you have 10 minutes. Reality is, those viewing on You Tube are not going to give you half that time. Even then, at five minutes, your video is not going to be widely seen, as it is STILL TOO LONG. The tipping point for great distribution/hits seems to be 90 seconds, or less. My most popular video on You Tube runs 87 seconds. The idea (from my perspective) with the videos I produce is to wake people up, to get them to think....I would say the discussion here, the comments there, the number of people who have so far viewed this video make it successful in its goal.

There is a theme that recurs over and over among "Bush supporters", I tried to ask Charles about it, as I have others several times. Though he speaks of:

"Source? Reference? Link? Verifiable evidence of any kind?"

He and many others are compelled to see all criticism of our President as based on "hate", without any perceivable evidence for this claim. It is used to refute any and all assertions that something is amiss with our republic. This is itself a form of evidence that comparisons to previous despotic rulers is worth exploring.

This reaction is not even close to rational, or persuasive, unless one is already convinced that we are under the rule of trustworthy leaders, and therefor it is automatically slanderous to even think about the possibility that they could behave in any way similar to a Hitler or Saddam.

To discount the possibility that others are concerned for our freedom, and not personally interested in a single figurehead, is a great way to avoid the issues they raise. But is in fact indulgence in the very thing they accuse their opponents of doing: Basing their debate on personal assessment of Mr Bushes character. If their judgement about this man happens to be in error, there is no reason not to wonder about his attitude toward checks on his power. He has demonstrated on numerous occasions that he wishes to share power with no one. That is why many are suspicious of him, not their hatred.

There have been countless instances of rulers that sought and achieved absolute power over their countries. We all know this to be an irrefutable fact. We all know that our governmental form is based primarily on preventing this very real possibility from occurring to us. Why is it now time to cease being vigilant about this common development?

Always this despotic condition is fostered by the desire of the people to be protected. Saying that we our under threat is no reason to become blind to the danger of despotism, particularly when our leaders are themselves intentionally amplifying the nature of that threat. Of course it is more expedient to have a single source for deciding how to deal with a threat, but we as a people have since the beginning elected to forgo that expediency in favor of protection from tyranny. Please stop trying to stifle the voices of those that may be an early warning of something terrible happening, just because you have not yet arrived at the conclusion that those warnings are accurate. Obviously, if we don't listen to warnings with an open mind, they are useless...even if accurate.

It is your very disdain for those warnings that male you vulnerable to them turning into something you will not be able to dismiss.

"The price of freedom is eternal vigilance", not derision of the vigilant.

Conspiracy theories." "Fringe nuts." "Lies." "Myths." These are the words being used by officials of the Bush Administration and others to brand those who oppose him. He seeks to discredit those who oppose him and fortify those who follow him out of fear of supposed "terrorism"....all the while sneaking in the back door his policies of forming a trilateral commission and forming a North American Union, to which he will be the "First President" of this union. This would, in effect, dissolve our Constitution, as we would no longer BE the United States of America. This would, in effect, dissolve our laws. This would, in effect, dissolve our rights, liberties, and freedom as a people. There would BE no longer, America as we know it. Bush would be the "new" president of a "new" country, formed behind our backs, without even Congress' permission.

President Bush was heard saying, when questioned about the Constitution: "It's only a g-damned piece of paper".

Do we not see the diversionary tactics of this "war on terror"?? Do we not see the REAL reason behind what is going on? The pact of the North American Union been signed. President Bush, it was agreed, would be the "new" president of this NAU. Did no one pay attention to March of 2005???

Is there REALLY a Republican party? Is there truly a Democratic party? Or are we left with a war between the peoples of our nation and diversionary tactics to prevent us, through our own fears and ignorance, to see the TRUTH...that Bush is to be the "next president" of a very large, and very powerful, continent!??

The United States is the most unique nation on earth. We were created out of a radical idea that free people, with their freedoms protected by the government would be happy and prosper beyond imagination. The idea worked. Now, the Bush Administration is ignoring this historic fact to obtain a dictatorship, stripping the citizens of this country of every liberty, every freedom, every right.....for his own agenda of supreme power and control.

While we are masticating the cud fed to us, we are seriously missing what is occuring behind the scenes.

WAKE UP, people. WAKE UP.
