A Walk in the Kitchen

My two year old son has a pair of black dress shoes that he wears to church every Sunday. I bought these shoes for him about 2 months ago. We tried them out at the shoe store and then the first Sunday he wore them with the right socks and outfit I told him to walk to the kitchen and back to me to make sure he didn't trip and fall. (the shoes are just a tad too big, ya know, room to grow and save some money at the same time!)

For two months now he has been putting these shoes on every Sunday morning. And it never fails, every Sunday morning, as I tie his shoes for him, his question to me is: "Go walk in the kitchen?" And he will jump up and run to the kitchen to try out his shoes once again.
