My question this moring is this: When someone really likes or dislikes a politician or elected official, they focus either on the good or the bad. I have never seen an ad or an article which focuses on both sides of that person. Why is it that we have to be so one sided when reporting whether they like or dislike that person.
Every politician I know has skeletons in the closet and there has not been one yet that does not have bad things they have done in or out of office. Same goes for thos that are being stated they are bad, everyone does have good qualities in them.
When comparing someone, I dont want to know just the bad side, I like to hear the good things of the person you are hoping gets in office. Or that you do not want to be in office.
Its like when you hate someone you only look at their bad side, but when you like someone you only look at their good side. The other sides are blindsided by the fact that you like or dislike someone.
So, why can't we focus on the person as a whole and not just one part of them.

One thing that really irritates me is... when something goes wrong... whatever it may be... either "all republicans" or "all democrats" seem to be to blame, in the minds of so many. I am a human, a mother, an American. I have my views, which many may disagree with... but if they listened more closely, they may just find that I also have many views that they actually like.
We are all judged in one way or another. It is really sad to me, thinking about some of the people I have in my life that I would not have known, had I judged them on one mistake.
