what are you doing for the rest of the week

well Wednesday is here and that means it hump day. We are very busy as today is my husbands' & mines b-day. We are 43 today. oh boy. MY son has dinner plans for us, unless wayne gets to busy putting the water lines in for the cattle yard. I have to work today and tomoorow at the butcher house. Which we are very busy right now because of hunting season. Then Friday i have to load sheep to go to market. Then I have to turn around and haul 2 pigs to the butcher house so we will have meat in our freezer for the winter. Then Saturday i have to clips huffs on my sheep that have had lambs. I am lambing right now. Found it's easier in the pens to work the ewes then when then are in a group. One at a time is alot easier.

So what are your plans for the rest of the week.

Right now my main project is a football video that I produce every year for our local high school football team. My husband and I go to all the games and tape from the sideline. It is so much fun. I am hooked on being on the sideline even though I am always scared one of those plays is going to come off the field right about where I am standing. Anyway, I spend hours and hours capturing video with our editing software and creating a video that highlights the season with everything from pre-season, practices, coaching spots, long runs, big hits, a games reveiw and a section devoted to the seniors. It is a lot of work and it is always nerve wracking (for me) given the volitility of software. Plus I have a deadline which creeps up very quickly after the season ends. I am beginning to feel that pressure now. This year the boys have earned for the first time ever I think, a spot in the district playoffs. It has been an exciting season with only 1 loss and that by only 1 point! I don't usually talk much about what I do....but you asked and that was nice of you.

Anyway...Happy Birthday! I hope you find time to celebrate a little!

Happy Birthday to you and your husband. Enjoy the dinner your son has for you. Take a few minutes and enjoy your birthday. You are a busy lady. I forget how busy farm life is. My grandparents had a farm near Hamilton, Kansas. I now live in the Kansas City Metro area. There are things I miss about living in a small town.

Tanya, Happy Birthday! What a busy life you have! Not much going on here....but I should be working on a story for my website. It's half done, so no big deal, and it's more fun to see what everyone on Gather is doing!

tomorrow I need to run to the fabric store to get some items to finish a couple of quilts, plus do some Christmas shopping...Friday is grocery shopping plus my youngest is going to Grandma and Grandpa's house and I have a ton of laundry to do as well....it's going to be a busy next couple of days! LOL
