I think that kid is going to have a great life! 500 times better then where he was so everyone should just be happy.

My dad says he watched them interview the father and he said "Some Christian blond lady" was adopting his kid. lol.

I think the father knew what he was doing and then changed his mind when he found that Madonna was a rich celebrity. Personally, even though I don't like Madonna a lot, I think the child would be much better off with her than with his own father. His father hasn't done much for him so far in his life. Madonna seems to have done OK with her kids, although I thought it was a bit over the top when Madonna gave Lourdes a credit card at such a young age and let her spend with it. But at least the child will have its basic needs met and then some with Madonna and probably lots of love too. When the child is grown he can visit his biological father if he wants to. (Believe it or not, I was born in the same small city as Madonna.)

I don't think people have a problem with her adopting the boy. But they make it out like she went shopping for a child. There are waiting list for people waiting to adopt.
If she starts this people will just start buying kids whenever they want instaed of going through the correct channels.

Even the father said that IF the local tribe had decided on this matter they would have realized that all parties wanted this to happen...including the father. Jeeze that boy can grow up and return to be a man that can GREATLY help his people!
Had the people adopting this little boy been average people in middle America we'd all be happy for everyone concerned.Just be happy for that little boy... too bad she couldn't "adopt" the village..
