The Polar Express is a great movie to watch wether you are 0 or 200 years old. We purchased this movie last year when it came out on dvd. I am surprised the dvd has not worn out as many times as we have viewed this movie.
It is about a boy from Grand Rapids, Michigan (my birthplace) who is about the age at where a child would stop believing in Santa. Just as he was about to fall asleep, he hears rattling as the train stops right in front of his house.
He boards the train and on the way to the North Pole and Santa's Village he has a few mishaps and a great adventure. While visiting Santa he is chosen as the child to recieve the first gift of Christmas.
The story end with santa returning the gift he lost while climbing out of the sleigh.
I think this movie puts the spirit of Santa and Christmas back into your life. Yes, I know there is no santa, but it really gets you in the spirit of giving, the holiday lights and festivities.
The 2-disc wide screen has many great features too. Like a couple of songs from the show that just touch your heart and spirit.
