- Salt of the Earth - Tells the tale of a real life strike by Mexican-American miners and was produced, written and directed by victims of the Hollywood blacklist.
- The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari - Early German horror film.
- The Quiet One - A semi-documentary account of the rehabilitation at the Wiltwyck School of an emotionally disturbed boy who is unwanted, misunderstood, and inwardly tortured.
- The Phantom of the Opera - The 1925 Lon Chaney classic.
- My Man Godfrey - Carole Lombard and William Powell in a screwball comedy.
