It's actually my oldest daughter's. Well, in just a few minutes, anyways. She'll be 14--I made a collage of just a few pix of her on my 360 blog and hoping to put it here, too. I also posted Lee Ann Womack's I hope you Dance.
The week's been bad, and she doesn't think I've anything much for her, yet. Been working on planning a semi-decent slumber party(pretty much her first, since I never got to throw one for her...and we've been living with family on and off for too long now). So I wanted her to enjoy that. But I've also put something's together for her. We don't have much, but I've not heard too many complaints, when it comes right down to it. I probably spend more time with just 1 of my kids, than most do with their whole families. That's what they're for, right?
Anyway's, it's a bit of a costume party, so I'll be picking up a hopefully nice one tomorrow(party on Friday) for her. Kimono-type thingy...theme's more oriental and princesses type than anything. Every girls' dream at least once, or so it seems.
And she knows about a trip to MOA(mall of America) to go to a more "bigger girls"/teen clothing store called Torrid(?lol, not totally sure how it's spelt--guess I'm not that, uh...hip? : D)
But I've more personal things, and the party's a 24 hour deal, and --I wish I could do more, but she's pretty happy now. I'm really the lucky one here.
