Well, singing raises endorphins as you probably well know and as for alcohol, hell, it helps temporarily. This is a keening for all of us who suffer from depression and feel as if we carry Atlas' burdern However, once your nurturing instinct kicks in, and you purge yourself through art, ironically the blures have left while being sung. Brilliant!
