Gatherer's I would like to add a P.S. to my recent article,
A timely reminder: If you are not registered to vote, it is
not to late. You can go to: rockthevote.org: search the
Internet using your state's name and "voter registration"; or, call your state's election board.
Vote this November !
Editor's note: Thank you Donna M. for pointing out about how important it is to get the younger generation to vote...you are our future. Let your voice be heard!!

The deadline for registering or transferring your voter registration is 30 days before an election. If you register by mail, your application must be postmarked by the 30-day cutoff or it will not become effective until after the election.
I , sincerely appreciate your comments. TH
Education is and will always be the success of a strong society and healthy economy...why is it always the last area of funding on the scale of money distribution...?
There is more information on Madonnas adoption on the news than what is happening with the young people in THIS country!
I think we here all on Gather would agree with your statement, Education is the success of our society and the future of our children. I hope we elect our officials that strongly believe in "Leave no child behind." And, take action upon those words...rather then just use them in a speech.
Let's hope it is Patrick!
I firmly believe like just about ALL on Gather that we must use our voices
to achieve what WE want from our country. And, never stop speaking...
long after election has past. ox, mo-zy
